Himalayan Adventure Weekend 25 & 26th May 2019

Royal Enfield Himalayan Adventure Weekend 25 & 26th May 2019

Scheduled for the 25-26th May 2019 the adventure weekend will be held in the ‘”Enfield State Park” located in Western Victoria close to the township of Ballarat.

Good afternoon all, we are pleased to announce the upcoming Himalayan Adventure Weekend.

The event is designed to bring together like-minded Himalayan owners from around the state simply to enjoy a weekend of camping in the bush, building a sense of community amongst Himalayan riders and the Royal Enfield brand.

First plans will see owners and participating dealers arriving around lunchtime Saturday to spend the afternoon trail riding in the surrounding area. Royal Enfield Australia will supply a BBQ dinner on Saturday evening with all other meals/drinks etc at the responsibility of the individual participants. Riders are free to continue trail riding on Sunday morning or depart for home at their leisure.

Please note that as this is an ‘Adventure’ styled activity, bush camping is part of the event and therefore a strict ‘take it in, bring it out’ rule will apply. Participants need to be aware that conditions are very basic with only one toilet on site and that attendees will be required to be completely self-sufficient, It is supposed to be an adventure after all !!

A very limited number of roadhouses and hotels surround the vicinity of the park, so it would pay not to rely on them for supplies.

The Adventure Camp will be set up at Surface Point (see attached) within the Enfield State Park, therefore we have to mindful of the rules and regulations that come with camping and they are listed on page 2 of the attached information sheet.

Royal Enfield Australia staff will be present across the weekend and will lead some guided rides around the park for those who wish to participate. Further details will be available closer to the event.

N.B : There are no costs involved to attend and the event will go ahead regardless of weather conditions unless instructed by Parks Victoria that camping for whatever reason is prohibited.
